Wrestling X Returning to TV

Here's the latest piece of info, coming from the Head of PR for WX Entertainment. So, read on:

"It's been almost a year since WX Entertainment approached Top Rope Promotions regarding a show idea, and it's looking like it's finally going to happen. WX Entertainment and Top Rope Promotions have teamed up with Black Bunny Productions and C3TV to bring South Coast Championship Wrestling to Cape Cod TV on Channel 17. WX Entertainment and Top Rope officials have met with Executive Producer Terry Duenas and Program Director Beth Trout of C3TV a few times in the last few weeks to set a time slot and date for the show to premiere. I sat down with the head of East Coast Operations for WX Entertainment Gene Joseph to ask him his thoughts about bringing Wrestling X back on the air.

"I am so happy that ten months of hard work to bring Wrestling X back to TV in a better and different fashion - highlighting the independent pro wrestling of the New England area - is great. Top Rope and WX Entertainment have a strong relationship that will cause one hell of a show for the Cape Cod wrestling fans."

"This is excellent news," commented the President of WX Entertainment and head of West Coast operations Stephen D. Perry regarding the return of Wrestling X. "Gene and I had plans to bring the show back to TV for a long time, and once I pioneered WX Entertainment's West Coast expansion, I was still hoping Gene could front the effort to get the show back on the air. I know that Gene can lead the WX Entertainment brand in conjunction with Top Rope Promotions to success with the return of Wrestling X. Though I won't be too personally involved, I'll be looking forward to seeing just what takes place. Our relationship with Top Rope for the past year has been nothing but positive, and I'm sure it'll only improve from here on."

We will update you more on this as soon as we receive more information. Keep your eyes open in the newspapers and on Channel 17 - C3TV.
