A year ago this month, Steve Perry and Gene Joseph went to a small wrestling show taking place behind the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis, MA under the promotion of Top Rope Wrestling. They went with two goals in mind: One, to get a show on the air showcasing all of the talent of Top Rope, and second, to fulfill Gene's dream of finding his spot in the business of pro wrestling, whether it was actually wrestling or otherwise. Both were accomplished because of that day. Gene has found he is made for this business. In his words, "I love this biz and I'm happy where I am at and who I'm working with. These guys here bust their ass and I'm glad and so happy to be working with the best team in the indy circuit." Aside from this, we here at Wrestling X as well as the entire staff, crew and talent from Top Rope want to wish Joe P. a speedy recovery and can't wait to see him back soon. We also want to tahnk him for all the work he does. He's one of the reasons Top ROpe has been around for over 20 years. We thank you, Joe, and get well soon. Also, we would like to thank Joe Eugineo, Steve Ricard and Jaime for all of the hard work, time and crap they go through for all of the boys and the fans.
